These terms cover your use of larztechnology.com. They are not the contract for paid work — that is a separate written agreement signed before any engagement starts.

Using this site

You may read, quote and share anything published here. If you quote an article, attribute it and link back to the original page. That is the entire licence.

You may not:

• Republish articles in full on another site, with or without attribution.
• Scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other visitors.
• Present the content as your own work, or as another person's.
• Use the site to break the law.

What the advice here is and is not

Everything published on this blog is general information about search engine optimisation. It is not tailored to your site, your market or your circumstances.

Nobody can guarantee search rankings — not us, not anyone. Google decides what ranks, changes its systems continuously, and does not accept payment for organic placement. Any SEO who guarantees a position is either misunderstanding the work or misrepresenting it.

Applying advice from an article is your decision. We are not liable for what happens to your rankings, traffic or revenue when you act on general guidance published for a general audience. Paid engagements are different — those are governed by the signed agreement, which sets out what is owed on both sides.

Accuracy and freshness

Search changes fast. An article that was accurate when published may be wrong a year later. Every post shows its publication date, and updated posts show the update date.

We correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. If you spot something wrong, email contact@larztechnology.com — corrections are welcome and are made openly rather than silently.

Where an article cites external data, the source is named. Where a figure is an estimate or a range, it is described as one.

Intellectual property

The articles, page copy, design and code on this site belong to Larz Technology, except where a third party is credited.

For client work, ownership is the opposite of the industry norm: clients own everything produced for them — content, accounts, dashboards, documentation and links — from day one, not on completion of payment terms. Links to other sites

Articles link to external sources, tools and documentation. Those sites are not under our control. Linking to a site is not an endorsement of everything on it, and we are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or what they do with your data once you leave.

Enquiries are not engagements

Submitting the contact form or requesting a free audit does not create a client relationship, and does not oblige either side to anything. Work begins when scope, price and terms are agreed in writing.

Free audits are provided as-is. They are a genuine assessment, not a sales artefact, but they are produced without access to your analytics or your business context, so treat the findings as a starting point rather than a plan.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Larz Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website — lost profits, lost data, lost opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

Changes
