What data larztechnology.com collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted.
This policy explains what happens to information you give Larz Technology through larztechnology.com, and what happens to information collected automatically while you browse it.
It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, email contact@larztechnology.com and ask.
This policy describes the site's intended data practices. Confirm each section against what your analytics, hosting and form tooling actually do, and have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it. Sections marked [verify] contain assumptions that must be checked.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact or audit-request form, or message on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send. Typically that is your name, email address, phone number, website URL, and a description of what you need.
We ask for this so we can reply to you and prepare an audit. We do not need anything else, and you should not send anything else — please do not send passwords, card details, or account credentials through the form or over WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the page or search that sent you here.
[verify] This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes some of this data on Google's infrastructure, which may be outside India. If you have removed or replaced Analytics, update this section.
We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or third-party trackers beyond the analytics described above.
Why we are allowed to use it
- To reply to you — because you contacted us and asked for a response.
- To deliver work you engaged us for — because we have a contract with you.
- To keep the site working and improve it — because we have a legitimate interest in a site that functions, and in knowing which articles help people.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations — because Indian law requires it for invoiced work.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may withdraw consent at any time. Doing so does not affect anything already done lawfully before you withdrew it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records and correspondence — for the length of the engagement plus 8 years, because invoicing and tax records must be retained.
- Analytics data — for the retention period configured in Google Analytics. [verify] Check your GA4 property setting; the default is 14 months.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the business:

If we are ever legally compelled to disclose information — a court order, a lawful request from an authority — we will comply, and will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
Cookies
This site sets a cookie to remember your light or dark theme preference. That one is functional and cannot be turned off without breaking the toggle.
[verify] Google Analytics sets its own cookies for measurement. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not stop the site from working.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.
- Stop using it for a particular purpose.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it to do the work — in practice, that is a very short list.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. For anything significant, we will say so on the site rather than quietly editing the text.
